CueLight – Presentation Timer
Presentation tool
A simple visual timer for presentations, meetings, workshops, and practice sessions.
How it works
CueLight lets you set a presentation time and track progress using a large timer display and visual colour cues. The cues help you see whether you are on pace, approaching the end, or out of time without needing to watch the clock closely.
When to use it
- Best used for timed presentations, Toastmasters speeches, meeting facilitation, workshop segments, student practice, and rehearsal.
- Not used for complex event scheduling, speaker queue management, formal timekeeping records, or multi-session conference timing.
- Audience: speakers, evaluators, facilitators, instructors, students, and anyone who needs to stay on time without distraction.
Notes and limits
- Assumption: The user sets the correct time limit before starting.
- Known constraint: Colour cues support quick timing checks, but users should select a scheme that is readable for their screen, room lighting, and colour vision needs.
- Edge case: If the device locks, loses power, or the browser refreshes, the timer may stop or reset.
